Christine Brown Shrugs Divorce: ‘Family Just Looks Different’
Christine Brown is cool as a cucumber as she shrugs off her decision to divorce Kody and move away from Flagstaff while talking to her former sister wives. Fans could see relief washing over Christine as she finally got to tell Meri, Janelle, and Robyn the depths of what was going on between her and Kody. For the most part, Christine Brown was super casual and seemed to shrug off the whole thing as not being that big of a deal.
Christine Brown shrugs off divorce, not a big deal?
Janelle Brown was the first to jump into the question pointing out that Christine’s announcement was going to unravel years and years of what they had built as a family. Likewise, both Meri and Robyn agreed this was something that would rock the family to the core and destroy everything. Christine Brown shrugged off the whole conversation noting that there really wasn’t anything to unravel and nothing was really changing. Christine added that their family would just look a little now.
Meri Brown scoffed at what Christine was saying and implied she was delusional if she thought her divorcing Kody and moving to Utah was just this casual occurrence that wouldn’t change things. From Christine Brown’s point of view, however, she was DONE living for other people and worrying about making everyone else happy. She had reached a point in her life where she just wanted to live for herself and do things that made her happy. This included making the decision the divorce Kody and move to Utah where she could be surrounded by love.
Meri and Robyn Brown are both angry
Meri Brown made it pretty clear she was angry out the whole situation. She implied she didn’t believe divorce was an option for people in plural marriage. Likewise, she also implied she would likely have no relationship with Christine moving forward because they would no longer be sister wives. Fans assume this was also something Christine would just shrug off because she had previously admitted to having virtually no relationship with Meri or Robyn.
For Christine Brown, this is something she’s been talking about and thinking about for a while. She, however, hadn’t found the right time to tell everyone. So, it is also possible she was calm because she had time to process and go through all of the emotions. The news was fresh for Meri, Janelle, and Robyn.
