In the video, the 61-year-old revealed that his leg was still bothering him a little bit, but it was on the mend. His partner Cheryl Burke is a seasoned ballroom performer and certainly knows how to avoid making injuries worse.

But can he compete?

“This week has been an incredible journey to learn the Samba. Did I learn it? We will see tomorrow!” Sam posted on his Instagram page this morning. He attached a short clip of him and Cheryl after their Elvis Night performance.

By all accounts, it really seems as if Sam Champion will be able to perform tomorrow night. Fans hope that Sam will continue to prioritize his health and take breaks if he needs to. Dance injuries aren’t at all uncommon and they can quickly get worse if they aren’t taken seriously.
