The 51-year-old made the confession last week. On Thursday’s broadcast of Live with Kelly and Ryan, she shared what she really wears in bed. While most women would rather rip off their bras, Kelly thinks they should make a comeback. She can’t ever go without one, even in bed.

“Bras are the new shirts,” Kelly Ripa told her co-host. “Bras are all the rage. Bras are shirts now. I feel like all of today’s fashion, they’ve made it for a time that is a day gone by for me.”

She joked that she would show up to her son’s wrestling match in just a bra. Kelly likes the idea of just wearing a bra — especially with today’s crop top trend. Then she brought up the 18-hour bra that was sold in retail stores. She didn’t agree with the concept.

The purpose of the 18-hour bra was that “you’re supposed to take it off at a certain hour.” However, Kelly Ripa wants to keep hers on for as long as she wants. She told him that she still sleeps in hers. Ryan thought she was joking, but she was serious.
