Are Pumpkin & Honey Boo Boo Filming With Mama June Again?
Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird has wowed fans with the way that she has been able to manage her family. Last season in Road to Redemption, she officially took custody of her younger sister, Honey Boo Boo. After all, she had been raising the now-seventeen-year-old since 2019. Viewers started to see how Pumpkin and HBB continued to command the screens. Pumpkin & Honey Boo Boo On Their Own?
Over the summer, Pumpkin and her sister, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson headed to California for a fan meet and greet. Their family and Alana’s boyfriend, Dralin Carswell all tagged along. Apparently, while out there, they met with some people about doing their own show without their mother. Fans have long felt the girls can hold their own and were ready to see them shine. Then, a short time back, cameras were seen following Mama June around. Therefore, it looked like a new season of RTR was underway.
However, this may or may not be the case. According to The Sun, sources have confirmed that Pumpkin and her family have been filming their own show. Included in this production are Pumpkin’s husband Josh, their four kids, and Alana’s beau, Dralin. As for June, she apparently did not make the casting cut for the alleged spinoff. Last month, she was a no-show at Alana’s seventeenth birthday party but did send an apology text. Plus, she was sent by $400 Nikes for the birthday girl to smooth things over yet it seems the damage is already done.
Struggling To Get By
It has not been easy for Pumpkin to get by since she took Alana in three years ago. Since then, their older sister, Jessica ended up crashing with them. Furthermore, Pumpkin and Josh added three more children to their brood. Bentley joined older sister Ella in the summer of 2021. Twins Sylus and Stella followed in May of this year. A month prior, Alana’s custody situation was settled with Mama June ordered to pay $800/month. To make ends meet, the girls have been promoting their meet and greets as well as Cameo appearances.
Sadly, Alana has taken to her social media to share that they were not paid for one meet and greet by an Atlanta Boston Market. She is currently taking legal action. However, there was just sad news on the familial front as June was hospitalized after a routine checkup raised eyebrows. She has been in the hospital since Monday and there have been no updates. Plus, none of her children have shared anything on their social media.
