Dancing With The Stars pros Sasha Farber and Emma Slater made the choice to split up earlier this year after four years of marriage. However, it doesn’t seem as if there is any bad blood between the exes. Their fans already know they spent a lot of the summer working on So You Think You Can Dance together. And now, they’re both prepping for DWTS Season 31, which kicks off this Monday night.
Fans are happy to know that they can still work together even amid their breakup. But it seems like they may actually be pursuing a friendship too. Keep reading to see what happened.
Paparazzi spotted Sasha Farber & Emma Slater out on a friendly outing
Breaking up can be difficult, but it seems like Sasha and Emma are doing their best to keep things professional. If there are any negative or hard feelings, they’re really keeping things to themselves.
They may no longer post about each other on social media or wear their wedding rings, but the paparazzi recently spotted them out for a friendly outing together.
Us Weekly reports that paparazzi snapped a photo of Sasha out with his DWTS Season 31 partner, Selma Blair. They seemed to meet up with Emma Slater for a moment and had a friendly conversation. Emma’s Season 31 partner Trevor Donovan was reportedly not around.
Us Weekly was also the publication that broke the news about the couple’s split in the first place.
“They’ve been apart for many months now,” an inside source close to the couple reported. “They both have not been wearing their wedding rings and are each leading a single life.”
Emma and her sister Kelly went on a trip to Europe recently. Meanwhile, Sasha stayed at home and took care of the dogs they share, Ruby and Grinch.
The insider went on to say that both Emma and Sasha are trying to navigate this difficult time and are relying on loved ones for support. Right now, it doesn’t appear that either has filed for divorce, but they definitely aren’t living as a married couple any longer.
Alfonso Ribeiro may secretly be rooting for the DWTS pro and Selma Blair
There are 16 competing couples this year and any of them stands a chance at bringing home the Mirrorball Trophy. But as for the show’s new host Alfonso Ribeiro, he has his eye on Sasha and Selma.
“I will say that I am so interested to see Selma Blair’s journey,” the actor told PEOPLE. “It’s such a groundbreaking moment for the show to have someone [with Multiple sclerosis] be able to come and do the show. I think it’s going to be a wonderful story this season. How well she can do physically is yet to be seen, but I can’t wait to see that story.”
