DWTS Season 31 contestant Sam Champion has his dancing shoes ready. He brings them everywhere he goes. However, he almost forgot his underwear. The Good Morning America host had trouble packing for his big move.

Sam took to his Instagram Live to ask his followers to help him out. He’s moving to Los Angeles as he gears up for his new role, which has been painful. Sam has been rehearsing every day with his partner Cheryl Burke. Now, he’s moving from NYC to LA for the next few months.

Dancing with the Stars Season 31 premieres on Monday, September 19 on Disney+.

GMA host shows off his dance shoes

As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Sam Champion shared his “painful” experience with learning how to dance. He’s gotten blisters from his shiny black dance shoes, which he showed off on Twitter. Sam has been sharing his updates with his followers on the social media platform.

The 61-year-old has to change the bandages on his feet “once a day so far.” It could get worse as he continues to practice for the dancing competition. Sam is hoping that he can experiment with dance shoes. The weatherman will have to find the right fit for his footsies.

So far, rehearsals are so “painful” that he can hardly move. On the Monday, September 12 broadcast of Good Morning America, Robin Roberts asked Sam Champion during his forecast to dance with her. He joked that he “can barely move from this side of the map to that side of the map.”

Sam didn’t want to show off his dance moves just yet. He was also wearing his dance shoes in the studio. However, he didn’t want to flash the camera with the shininess of the shoes. Fans are looking forward to seeing him dance with Cheryl during Monday night’s premiere.

Sam Champion almost forgets his underwear!

Sam Champion is getting ready to compete on DWTS. He will have to move to Los Angeles for the next few months, which means he won’t be doing the weather on GMA. The meteorologist has been busy packing and rehearsing. On Friday, September 16, he held an Instagram Live with his followers.

He asked for virtual help with his packing. The television personality wanted to make sure that he didn’t forget anything important. Sam Champion thanked fans after he realized that he almost forgot his underwear. He admitted that he didn’t pack the following key items in his luggage. One fan shared the hilarious moment on Twitter:

“Underwear! Oh my God,” Sam Champion exclaimed. “I have no socks and no underwear. See! Thank you, guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Because that would not have been a good place to be, right?”
