Jessica Lowndes, Paul Greene, Gladys Knight Filming For GAF
GAF has just begun filming a brand new Great American Christmas movie called Someday At Christmas. It will star Jessica Lowndes (Harmony From The Heart, Too Close For Christmas), Paul Greene (When Calls The Heart, Christmas CEO), and Grammy-winning singer and actress, Gladys Knight (Almost Christmas, Coming 2 America).
With all of this musical talent, it should be of no surprise that this will be a musical movie. What else do we know?
What Do We Know About GAF’s Someday At Christmas?
According to the official GAF press release sent to TVShowsAce, they will begin filming Someday at Christmas starting on Friday, September 9.
Bill Abbott, Great American Media’s CEO, shared his enthusiasm for this production.

Gladys Knight, who will be honored this year at the Kennedy Center for a Lifetime Achievement Award this December, has an important reunion in this GAF movie. Knight is reuniting with former Motown chief and acclaimed, award-winning writer-producer, Suzanne de Passe.
What Is Someday At Christmas About?
While we know this Great American Christmas movie will be a musical, what is the movie about? Here is the synopsis.
“In Someday at Christmas, Holly Bose (Lowndes), a full-time salesclerk and part-time chorus girl, anxiously counts on one hand the number of auditions she has remaining before throwing in the towel on her five-year plan to become a Broadway star.
Holly has several brief and literal run-ins with jingle writer (and seasonal Santa), Jason Murphy (Greene). There’s a spark, but it’s complicated: Holly has her eye on the world’s biggest stage and Jason is beyond protective about bringing new relationships into his young daughter’s life.
Though well intentioned, Jason makes Holly feel like she’s auditioning for yet another role. It would make sense if romance never happened. Except for wealthy real estate landlord, Cora Ross (Knight) who turns one bit of magic into another. Cora has seen the spark between Holly and Jason, and she has her heart set on bringing the two together to star in the town’s annual “Holiday Lane Christmas Concert.“
In Holly, Cora has her aspiring lead, and in Jason, she has a jingle writer capable of writing a new Christmas classic. With Cora in charge, this off-Broadway show will have everyone falling in love with Christmas.”

Great American Family will premiere Someday At Christmas in November. They should be announcing official premiere dates in the coming days.
When Calls The Heart Alum Paul Greene Excited For This Movie
On Wednesday, Paul Greene went to Instagram to share his excitement about this project. Of course, he is! He is perfuming with a legend!
Moreover, he just completed filming Fit For Christmas with Amanda Kloots, which will air on CBS this Christmas. Paul is going to be Mr. Christmas 2022 at the rate he is going.
However, he hints that he had a last-minute addition, and he is now starring in GAF’s Someday At Christmas.
