The TLC star took to Instagram to share another photo of herself holding the six-month-old baby. On Sunday, August 28, Theresa Caputo shocked fans when she showed off her long nails that were painted white. She held up her granddaughter’s arms as she looked down at her.

Theresa kept the rest of her look simple with an all-black outfit and her hair in a high ponytail. Baby Michelina looked like she was having a good time. She wore a black onesie in a fun space print. Michelina had a big smile on her face as she looked at the camera.

She wished Victoria’s husband Michael Mastrandrea a happy birthday. Some fans took to the post to share well wishes. Others wondered where Theresa’s ex-husband has been hiding lately. However, there was grave concern over her razor-sharp nails, which were close to the baby’s skin.

“Omg she’s literally poking the baby’s arm with the dangerously sharp nails. Stop with the nails or don’t handle that sensitive baby!!!!” one fan wrote.

“Totally agree. I would be terrified watching this as a mother!!” a second user agreed.

  1. My nails have been pretty long since my 28yo son was 3. Until recently, I’ve worked in Early Childhood as well as Special Education. I also have 4 grandkids. I have NEVER, I repeat NEVER, EVER poked, scratched or harmed a child in any other way with my nails. I personally think hers are a bit long to use her hands for conventional activities, but I learned with mine so I guess she did too. Leave her alone! Not your nails or your family. Grow up!

    1. Completely agree, everybody wants to stick their noses where it don’t belong. If you’re that bored…take up a hobby!

  2. “NAILS” is that what everyone is concerned over. What are all of you going to talk about when this child starts seeing and talking to dead people. Then she hits the road doing venues all over the country and starts raking in and netting $275,000- per venue to spend an “Evening with Theresa’s granddaughter. Let it Be,already !
