GMA fans schooled Michael Strahan on barbershop etiquette. It all started when the television host shared a clip of himself getting his trademark buzzcut. He wants to look fresh for his job. Yet, fans couldn’t help but notice the blunders he made when he was at the barbershop.

The Good Morning America co-host has been away from the morning show. Michael has been hosting and promoting his game show The $100,000 Pyramid. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Michael got snubbed by Cedric the Entertainer. In the meantime, he got slammed for the way he acted while getting his haircut.

Michael Strahan expresses “loyalty” to his barber

On Thursday, August 18, Michael Strahan shared a clip of himself at the barbershop. He admitted that he is still loyal to his barber after all this time. Michael didn’t let fame go to his head. He could go to any Hollywood stylist, but he prefers the Cut Creator, who is based in Hackensack, New Jersey.

Michael Strahan sat cross-legged in the barber chair. He looked through his phone while he waited for his haircut. Meanwhile, his barber was busy eating gummy bears. Michael wrote, “Waiting on Ollie (barber of 30 years) to finish his gummy bears.”

He continued his playful banter with his barber. He mocked him for “singing to his wife.” In another scene, Michael wore a black capelet while the barber brushed his hair. They were discussing “barbershop junk.”

The former NFL star also poked fun at his barber’s attention to his customers. “Asking other customers why them come here,” Michael Strahan joked. Despite the wisecracks, he admitted that he loves going to this barbershop. Michael also included the song “Tick Tick Boom” by Sage the Gemini in the video.

GMA co-host slammed for his poor etiquette

GMA fans couldn’t help but notice the number of mistakes that Michael Strahan made. While most of them found the video humorous, others noticed how the television host sat in his seat. Others slammed him for moving his head too much.

• “Legs couldn’t be crossed in my chair. We were taught that was a sure-fire way for a crooked. You just chillin’!”
• “I was thinking the same thing. My stylist taught me well to never cross my legs.”
• “I’m a licensed cosmetologist and licensed barber. Trust me, no one sitting in the chair like that even at the barbershop.”
• “Quit moving your head when he’s cutting!!!”
