‘Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation’ OVA Now On Crunchyroll
Popular streaming platform Crunchyroll has added another episode to its list of new launches. Crunchyroll confirmed that it had started streaming an unaired side-story OVA from the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime. The episode titled ‘Eris The Goblin Slayer’ was shipped along with the anime’s Blu-ray Disc volume released on March 16.
Mushoku Tensei OVA Episode Streamed On Funimation
The episode got a preview screening on March 6 in Japan. Moreover, Funimation also streamed the episode for anime fans in North America. However, the episode was missing from Crunchyroll’s streaming list. When Mushoku Tensei aired in October 2021, it showed the reunion of Rudeus with his father Paul in Episode 16.

However, it didn’t reveal what Ruijerd and Eris did at the same time. This unaired side-story episode reveals the events that took place that day. A comment in Episode 16 by Eris revealed what must have happened during that day.
Crunchyroll’s New OVA Introduces A New Character
As per Anime News Network, it was teased that they were actually getting rid of the goblins. In the very same episode, Ryota Ohsaka voiced the fresh character introduced in the show named Cliff, who is also a young male sorcerer.
Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 1 Part 1 premiered in January 2021. On the other hand, its second part premiered in October 2021 after an unforeseen July delay. The entire season streamed on Funimation.

The official synopsis of the anime as per Funimation reads:
“The story follows a 34-year-old man who is killed after trying to save someone from getting hit by a car. He soon finds himself reincarnated in a magical world as Rudeus Greyrat, except that he gets his whole life reset, starting as a baby. With all of his knowledge from his previous life, and a new heaping helping of magical ability, Rudeus quickly becomes a formidable warrior ready for adventure. Oh, and he’s still a total pervert.”

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation is a light isekai novel series penned by Rifujin na Magonote. It started as a web novel series & was later picked up by MF Books to be published as a series of light novels. Later on, the light novel was then adapted into a manga, followed by an anime adaption. The anime adaptation was released in 2021, with Funimation getting the rights to air the anime in North America.
Mushoku Tensei Season 1 Streaming on Crunchyroll
The first season of the anime adaptation was created by Studio Bind & features a total of 23 episodes. Mushoku Tensei anime follows the story of a 34-year-old who gets into a tragic accident.

However, as opposed to moving on to his afterlife, he finds that he has been transported into a new world. His identity in the new world is Rudeus Greyrat, who starts his journey in this world as a baby.
