Jacob and Isabel became parents in December. When she was pregnant, the couple informed fans of their decision not to post photos of Mateo’s face online. Ultimately, they want to give him privacy.
Now, Isabel will occasionally share photos of her son but never shows his face. She might post his tiny toes or the back of his head. Below, you can see one of the photos that Isabel Roloff has posted of Mateo.
Some LPBW fans are sad and wish they could see Mateo. But Isabel and Jacob have stood their ground in hopes of giving their son privacy.

On her Instagram Stories, Isabel Roloff recently shared more about their decision not to post Mateo’s face online. She defended the choice she and Jacob made, revealing that they first talked about this shortly after she got a positive pregnancy test.
As you probably know, Jacob’s life was featured on Little People, Big World for years. Sadly, an LPBW producer allegedly groomed him from a young age.
Isabel said she doesn’t know whether she would post Mateo’s face online if Jacob hadn’t had this experience. However, she now seems confident in their decision and is “happy” about it because they made this choice “as a family.”

She also said, “This comes down to what Jacob is comfortable with. ANY time you see a photo of any part of Mateo on here, I have asked if he is comfortable with it first.”
