Below Deck Mediterranean Season 7 cast member Dave White owned up to his concerning behavior. The chef spoke out about the rage texts he sent chief stew Natasha Webb after a drunken crew outing. Dave drank so much that he spiraled out of control. The crew member didn’t like it when Natasha ignored him most of the day.
Up to this point, she gave him mixed signals about their relationship. The two knew each other before they joined Captain Sandy Yawn’s crew. Dave and Natasha had an affair on another boat they worked on. Natasha was in a long-term relationship at the time.
How does Dave White feel about his behavior?
Dave spoke out about his behavior on Below Deck Med. He admits there is “no excuse” for the way he treated her. On the latest episode of Below Deck Mediterranean, Dave sent her several text messages that were misogynistic and inappropriate. During the latest crew night out, Dave grew jealous and angry that Natasha wasn’t giving him any attention.
He started texting her throughout the day. The texts only grew worse when he drank. In an interview with Decider, Dave spoke out about what happened. He regrets that his character was shown in a negative light. He had a hard time keeping his feelings for Natasha to himself.
“What I did and what I said were completely out of line,” Dave told Decider. “No matter how much I felt ill-treated, I should have never sent her what I did. I’m absolutely gutted by my behavior and wish I could take it back. Even though I was super upset, there’s no excuse for what I did. I feel like I need to apologize to everyone because the way I reacted was disgusting.”
Dave couldn’t watch that episode of Below Deck Med. He knows that his drunken behavior was a concern this season. He also acknowledged that scene when he got into a fight with deckhand Jason Gaskell. Dave is relieved that Captain Sandy gave him a second chance.
Below Deck Med star speaks his truth
Dave admitted that he’s not looking for sympathy. As TV Shows Ace previously reported, Natasha says the Below Deck Med production team sided with him by showing him in a positive light. However, Dave doesn’t feel that way. He took to his Instagram Story to share more about his concerning behavior.
“Everyone must own up to their mistakes. Life is a lesson. It’s how we grow as individuals and I messed up hard,” Dave wrote. “No Excuses women should never be spoken to in that way only respected.”
Dave also said that he’s “not looking for forgiveness.” He’s open to Below Deck Med fans having their own opinion about him. Natasha and Dave are no longer on speaking terms and want to move on from this drama. What are your thoughts on Dave owning up to his behavior? Sound off below in the comment section.
