Gabby Windey, Rachel Recchia Speak Out After Hayden’s Apology
What goes around comes around or so the saying goes. This was true for Bachelorette contestant Hayden Markowitz. He was caught during this week’s episode dissing both Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia. Hayden has also been the subject of multiple memes about him leaving his sick dog to go on the show. After Rachel confronted him and sent him packing, he issued an apology via social media. Now, the ladies are speaking out about the entire Hayden situation and sharing what they really think of that apology.
Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia speak out after Hayden’s Instagram apology
Talking bad about Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia proved to backfire on Hayden Markowitz. Word got back to Gabby and Rachel that he was talking about them even going as far as to say he can’t trust these “b*tches.” He also compared Rachel to his ex and called Gabby rough around the edges. He went a step further denying all of this to Rachel’s face. Plus, he believed his dog Rambo was the reason Rachel wanted to talk to him.
So, needless to say, Rachel showed him the way out. US Weekly shared what he had to say.
The day after the episode aired Hayden issued a public apology. He said, “For those who watched tonight’s episode, you saw me at my absolute worst and lowest moment. I have always tried to carry myself with humility and respect for others. However, my complete lapse of judgement was not only disappointing but it was absolutely unacceptable. I genuinely want to express my deepest apologies to both Gabby and Rachel for my actions. I take full responsibility for not being the man I was raised to be in those moments, especially towards these two wonderful deserving ladies who I truly do respect.” He continued, “I really hate how this season ended, but this experience was not one that I was mentally or emotionally prepared for with the current things going on in my life.”
He concluded by saying he wished both of the women well.
Gabby and Rachel’s response
The two Bachelorette’s spoke out about how they felt about Hayden’s apology. They got quiet before answering the question. Gabby spoke first. She said, “I think there’s lots of things to consider when people apologize on social media, especially, you know, in a public way after you’ve been outed on TV.” She continued, “So I think anyone can take that however they want.”
As for Rachel, she said she hasn’t spoken to Hayden since his exit. While she didn’t have a comment about his public apology she did note that they look forward to talking to him at the Women Tell All.
Needless to say since Rachel sent Hayden home he was able to return to his sick dog who had been going through radiation treatments. For those who want to know, Rambo is still doing well and has his favorite toy back.
