‘Welcome To Plathville’ Fans Praise Ethan Plath For Facing Kim
On TLC’s Welcome to Plathville, there has been some distance between Ethan Plath and his mother, Kim. Amid all of the family drama, these two have not been communicating with each other. However, when two episodes aired on TLC on Tuesday, July 26, Ethan finally sat down with his mom.
Now, Ethan is being praised by viewers. Many of them are proud of him for speaking to his mother after all this time. Keep reading to get all of the details about what was said and find out what fans think of it all.
Ethan Plath finally confronts his mom, Kim.
In the latest episode of Welcome to Plathville, Ethan asks his mom to meet up with him so they can talk. When they were reunited, Ethan didn’t waste a second. He asked his mom about her divorce. Then, he specifically talked about how she raised her kids to believe that they should only be with one person and that marriage is forever. He called out the hypocrisy of his upbringing and her current divorce drama.
He said that he felt “resentment” over this.
On Welcome to Plathville, Ethan also called out his mom’s homeschooling and told her that it fell short. He found that he was behind all of the other kids his age academically and in life, in general.
As for Kim’s parenting, Ethan said he thinks that she “didn’t try.”
Kim argued that she tried to teach them more about their passions and interests. However, Ethan didn’t find this to be sufficient.
It sounds like Ethan has felt this way for a long time but only recently had a chance to talk about it.

I certainly do feel an abundance of pride in Ethan for the way he handled the situation with his wife and his mom. His wife has been under the impression she’s deserving of sympathy and the right to continue to isolate Ethan from his mom under all circumstances until his late brother’s birthday.
I hope Ethan can find some closure now that he’s had the opportunity to get the answers he needed to the many questions he had since childhood. At the end of the day, his patients were far too overprotective with their children. I also hope he finds forgiveness from within cause his parents meant well in the long run
Good for Kim. BARRY IS SUCH A BORE. She lost it for him. It happens Ethan is just like his dad. No affection. His marriage is next if he doesn’t show a little more amotion.
