Sneak Peek: Ethan Plath Says Kim Is Manipulative, Does Not Trust Her
In a Welcome to Plathville sneak peek for the Tuesday, July 12 episode, Ethan Plath admits that he doesn’t trust his mom, Kim. The 24-year-old claims that his mom is manipulative, too. What else does Ethan have to say about his mother in the new preview? Keep reading for all of the details.
Welcome to Plathville sneak peek: Ethan reconnects with Barry.
In the latest preview for the July 12 episode of the TLC show, Ethan Plath sits down with his dad. The two guys are enjoying some time together at a little pizza shop.
Ethan and Barry have only recently reconnected. They previously had an intense confrontation and there was some distance between them.
The father and son agree to start simple and work on rebuilding their relationship. Then, they may eventually try to add Olivia and Kim to the conversation. They reflect on their relationship and where they were the last time they talked. Ethan Plath admits that he was upset for a “long time.”
Now, they are both ready to move forward.
Ethan Plath speaks his mind about his mom, Kim.
While eating out with his dad, Ethan feels comfortable letting loose and speaking out about how he really feels about his mom.
In another clip from this same scene, Ethan opens up about his mom and mentions her shortcomings. In a confessional, he says, “I think I like that my dad owns up to his mistakes more so than my mom does. The second biggest thing that I’ve always had a problem with my mom is she’s just always been one to meddle in relationships.”
He calls her a “controlling person” and says, “She definitely has manipulative traits. It’s just not something that I care to be close to.”
Ethan Plath says that he trusts his father and knows that he’s a “straight shooter.”
On the other hand, Ethan says, “My mom…I don’t trust her.”
