Funny Man Howie Mandel Appears Somber During 'AGT' Return

Funny man Howie Mandel appeared somber during his AGT return. He got a standing ovation from everyone in the studio. He was overcome with emotion when he returned to the NBC talent competition. Viewers have noticed that Howie has gone missing from certain episodes. They wanted to know if he was okay.

Howie revealed to the viewers that he tested positive for COVID-19. It was his first bout with the virus in two years. He spoke out about his struggles with being isolated away from his family. Howie didn’t like being alone with just his thoughts. Now, the comedian is back and better than ever.

Howie Mandel makes an emotional return to the show

On this week’s episode of AGT, Howie Mandel made his emotional return to the show. Both the fans and crew were happy to see the Canadian actor back. Howie cried on the way to his seat. He’s been away for several weeks since contracting COVID-19.

AGT is currently airing the auditions process for Season 17. Howie has been absent from the judges’ table. Fans noticed that the episodes were out of order. While he’s appeared in some episodes, he’s gone missing from others. Howie made his return in the latest episode on Tuesday, July 19.

During the episode, Howie took to Twitter to write: “REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD.”

Host Terry Crews introduced Howie’s name. The crowd roared as soon as he said his name. There were also lights and music in the background.

“Making his triumphant return,” the AGT host said. “Howie Mandelllllllllll.”

Howie was obviously glad to be back on the show. He tried to hold back tears, but he couldn’t. The judge blew kisses to the crowd. He then took off his glasses as he wiped away tears. The 66-year-old hugged each of his judges as he walked back to his seat.

Terry admitted that he’s “Very emotional right now.” The AGT judges agreed, “So emotional.” They were happy to see Howie back and doing well. It’s clear that his presence was missing from the show.

Terry screamed, “WE MISS YOU!” Howie gave a thumbs up. He thanked everyone for their support. He was too choked up to share how he was feeling.

Fellow judge Simon Cowell admitted, “By the way, Howie, I have had days of misery without you.”

Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara gushed over his sweet thoughts. They both agreed that they missed him too. Terry then asked Howie how he’s been feeling. “1000% better. I’m so thrilled to be here,” Howie responded.

The AGT fans at home were also happy to see him back. They were shocked that the goofy guy broke down in tears. Some of them took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

  • “Welcome back! Glad you are feeling better.”
  • “It’s not the same without you.”
  • “I won’t be able to sleep tonight, I’m so thrilled.”
