‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Know Exactly When Host Ken Jennings Will Be Back?

Jeopardy! fans have a feeling they know when Ken Jennings will get back his keys. They’ve been searching for clues ever since he first went on his hiatus in early May. At first, fans wanted to know what Jennings was doing that was so important. Then, they wanted to know whether the “true host” will finally come back.

Some fans are obsessed with the champ. They’ve been searching for clues in his social media posts. One noticed a “clue” that reveals when he will return. Actress Mayim Bialik has been hosting the show for the sixth consecutive win. Fans have criticized her for everything from the way she dresses to the way she hosts the game show.

Ken Jennings goes on hiatus

Ken Jennings announced that he was taking a break from hosting Jeopardy! He warned fans that he could be out for “months.” Bialik took his place during that time. Jennings shared a lot of praise for The Big Bang Theory star in his tweet. However, fans weren’t impressed by the announcement.

“I’m handing the keys back to the talented actor-producer-writer-director (!) Mayim Bialik for a few months,” Ken Jennings tweeted at the time. “We are lucky to have her! I’ll be back before the end of the season.”

At the time, some Jeopardy! fans said they would boycott the Mayim Bialik-hosted episodes. Others called Jennings the “true host.” Most fans prefer him since he won the early episodes of the long-running quiz show. Jennings won in 2004 and is considered a natural successor to Alex Trebek since the two became friends over the years.

Fans also noticed that Jennings also boasts higher ratings than Bialik. Each game has gone smoothly without blunders or criticism. Jeopardy! will announce the new permanent host by the end of Season 38 in July 2022. That’s also around the same time Jennings could return.

Jeopardy! fan spots clue?

One Jeopardy! fan claims they spot a clue as to when Ken Jennings will return. On Tuesday, June 21, the fan took to Reddit to share the clue from their future television listings. The fan asked who will host the Fourth of July game. In the episodes up to that date, Bialik is still listed as the host.

However, their July 4th listing didn’t have a name. Another fan on Reddit revealed that their Xfinity guides showed that Bialik will be the host of the Fourth of July episode. She will also host that entire week. So, it’s likely that he will return after that week.

This also fits with the timing of him returning before the Season 38 finale. Also, the game show films its game shows months in advance, which means that Jennings could become the new host.
