Eagle-eyed Jeopardy! fans think they know when Ken Jennings will be back. They declared him as the “true host” of the popular game show. Earlier this month, Jennings announced on Twitter that he will be taking a step back from his hosting duties. Mayim Bialik has been holding it down just fine.

Yet, fans think Bialik is not the perfect fit for the quiz show. They think she’s too giggly and isn’t aware of pop culture topics. Meanwhile, fans think Jennings had to take a break to perform with the Orchestra in London. Now, they’re searching for clues as to when he could make a grand return.

The “true host” of Jeopardy?

Jeopardy! viewers think they know the “exact date” that Ken Jennings is returning. They “spotted clues” on social media as to his whereabouts. These are very dedicated fans who love the former champion. According to the fans, he’s the “true host” of Jeopardy! Some fans have taken it too far by semi-stalking Jennings during his time away from the show.

Mayim Bialik has been holding down the fort for the past three weeks. She returned after Jennings announced his departure. He hosted through Canadia tutor Mattea Roach’s 23-game victory, which ended on May 7. Unfortunately, Roach’s run ended by a measly $1.

That same day, Ken Jennings delivered more bad news with Jeopardy! fans. He revealed that he’s taken an extended hiatus from the show. Jennings delivered some praise for The Big Bang Story star.

“I’m heading the keys back to the talented actor-producer-writer-director (!) Mayim Bialik for a few months,” Ken Jennings tweeted at the time. “We are lucky to have her! I”ll be back before the end of the season.”

However, Jeopardy! fans weren’t impressed with his announcement. They declared that they will boycott the show during his departure. Most fans enjoy watching Jennings since he won the most games of Jeopardy! in 2004. His knowledge and personality make him the natural successor to the late Alex Trebek.

Ken Jennings’ exact return date revealed?

Jeopardy! fans took to Reddit to speculate when Ken Jennings would return. However, it won’t be happening anytime soon. He previously admitted that he will return before the show’s Season 38 finale.

“My advanced Xfinity listings say that Mayim will be hosting through at least the week of June 20 and presumably, the week of June 27, since that would have been taped the day after.”

Jeopardy! filmed its final episodes about two months in advance. They shoot around five episodes each day. Season 38 has already wrapped filming. Fans have a feeling that Ken Jennings will return around the July 4th week.

On May 10, after his announcement, Ken shared a photo of a sign that read: “Aloha spirit required here.” Then on May 19, he traveled to Seattle Washington. While fans enjoy his seeing travels, they’re most looking forward to his return.
