In a shocking turn of events, Dancing With The Stars producers announced the show will be on Disney+ this fall instead of on ABC. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes right now and no one is sure who will return and who will leave. Long-time judge Carrie Ann Inaba says she will return to the judges’ table this season. But what about current show hostess Tyra Banks?

Right now, rumor has it that Tyra Banks has been pushed out amid the backstage shuffle. But this hasn’t been confirmed yet. Keep reading to see what Carrie Ann Inaba had to say about the whole situation.

Carrie Ann Inaba has strong feelings about Tyra Banks’ return

E! had the chance to talk to Carrie Ann Inaba about changes coming to Dancing With The Stars ahead of Season 31. She did confirm that she would come back in the fall, but also confirmed there would be pretty big shake-ups too.

“It’s a little bit different,” the judge told E! “I think the difference is maybe live voting across the country. Maybe there’s gonna be some things that will come along with the scripts that I think people are gonna love. People don’t always like change, but I think they’ll adapt.”

But what about Tyra Banks? Will she make a comeback?

Carrie Ann couldn’t confirm whether or not Tyra will be back, but she did make her feelings abundantly clear.

“Of course, we want Tyra!” the 54-year-old judge emphatically stated. “The thing about Dancing With The Stars is, once you’re on our show, you’re in the family. That’s so precious. We truly are family. Not many shows are as close as we are.”

Who else is returning for Season 31?

It’s not clear if Len Goodman will return to the judges’ table or not. Bruno Tonioli gave up his position on Strictly Come Dancing for DWTS, so he will probably be back. Derek Hough confirmed that he will return to the judges’ table as well.

But as for the pro dancers, it’s way too early to tell.

“As far as the show goes, the only information we received of it is we are going to be on a different platform, but as far as like, who’s going to be part of it and even ourselves as dancers, I’m not sure,” Season 29 champion Artem Chigvintsev said in an interview with Us Weekly.

In previous interviews, pro dancers have said the producers don’t ask them to return until a few weeks before showtime. So it will probably be mid-August until fans know more about the pro dancer cast members.
