When Calls The Heart’s Kevin McGarry Starts A Trend, Again
Early in When Calls The Heart Season 9, Kevin McGarry’s character, Mountie Nathan Grant sported a mustache. After a few episodes, he was clean-shaven once again.
However, it was just a few days ago that Kevin McGarry shared two hilarious videos of him shaving the mustache and soul patch on Instagram.
He wrote, “Always tough to say goodbye to the thing you love most. Season 9 in the đź“š Always gratitude #hearties 🙏 @hallmarkchannel.”Â
Well, five days later, on Saturday, Kevin went to Instagram Stories and shared a new selfie of him in a mustache, sans soul patch.
However, it is unclear if he knew what he was starting. We know Ryan Paevey just grew a mustache. Is Kevin starting a trend? Absolutely!
Kayla Wallace Shares Hairy Selfie
Next, Kevin McGarry’s real-life girlfriend, Kayla Wallace, who also happens to star in When Calls The Heart, also shared a selfie on her Instagram Stories.
In her selfie, she is also sporting a mustache. Mimicking Kevin, her lips are puckered, and she looks pretty tough. Kayla also tags Kevin in the photo.
Of course, their second movie together, My Grown Up Christmas List, will be premiering during Christmas In July, on July 16, at 8 p.m., Eastern, on the Hallmark Channel.
When Calls The Heart’s Erin Krakow Starts Something
Erin Krakow is not one to miss out on some social media fun. She also went to Instagram Stories. And yes, she also shared a selfie of herself sporting a mustache like Kevin and Kayla. Sporting a grey t-shirt, Erin’s blue eyes are wide open, and her look is very severe. It is absolutely hysterical.
She also tagged her When Calls The Heart co-stars. But, the fun is far from over.
Hearties Getting In On The Social Media Mustache Fun
Kevin, Kayla, and Erin looked like they were having so much fun, they seemed to inspire other Hearties. Caroline Richardson, one of the Hallmarkies podcast co-hosts shared on Twitter, shared the trio of When Calls The Heart stars with their mustaches.

However, that did not seem to be enough. She also shared a photo of herself with a mustache! Kevin McGarry shared it in his stories.
Now, all sorts of Hearties are sharing mustached photos of themselves, and Kevin McGarry is sharing them on his Instagram Stories feed. Fans are sharing their mustached selfies and tagging Kevin, and he is sharing them. Â Some are in full Mountie gear, there are family shots, and friends. So much fun!

Kevin McGarry Thanks Fans For ‘Unexpected Treat’
After he shared dozens of photos of Hearties in mustaches, Kevin went to his Instagram Stories to thank fans in a video.
Thank you to all my mustachioed friends today for playing along. That was an unexpected treat today. And you convinced Kayla to grow a mustache. Thank you for that.
The camera then moved over to a mustached Kayla, sipping on a frothy drink, wearing sunglasses, but we could see her moving her eyebrows up and down in a hysterical fashion.
As for his mustache, did he grow it for a reason? Is it for a role? Or did he really love his mustache so much that he had to grow it back?
Well, that answer is for another day.
