Just recently, we learned that real-life When Calls The Heart couple Kevin McGarry and Kayla Wallace shot a new Christmas movie at the end of 2021. This movie is called My Grown-Up Christmas List.
However, on Sunday, during the Hallmark series finale, Hallmark shared a promo from My Grown-Up Christmas List. This is because the new holiday movie will premiere during Hallmark’s Christmas In July 2022.
On Monday, Sleepy Kitty Paw shared more information on Twitter. “No press release, but Hallmark aired a promo over the weekend announcing MY GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS LIST, starring Kayla Wallace, Kevin McGarry and Cory Lee, would debut as part of their “Christmas in July” programming on July 16th.”
What Is Hallmark’s My Grown Up Christmas List About?
Although Hallmark has not yet shared a press release or synopsis, one astute fan, star_gazer02 recorded and shared the preview video on Twitter.
We first see Kevin say to Cory Lee, “How do you say, ‘Hey. I think we are meant to be together. You just have to wait a year.'” During his statement, we see vignettes of Kevin and Kayla’s characters look like a happy-in-love couple.
However, in the end, we see Kevin in military clothing, holding a beautiful bouquet of red roses in his hand.
Therefore, it looks like this is a couple that is meant to be. But, it also looks like he is in the service, and he must be deployed for a year.
We don’t know if this relationship will be about the whirlwind courtship at the beginning, or if there will also be the year-long wait.
Either way, it looks utterly romantic.
