‘American Pickers’ Mike Wolfe Thanks Mom For Carrying Him Through

American Pickers star Mike Wolfe thanked his mom for carrying him through. This comes after he admitted that he’s feeling the pressure. For Mother’s Day, the main star of the History Channel series took to Instagram to honor his own mom. He thanked her for her guidance and strength.

On Sunday, May 8, the American Pickers star posted a Mother’s Day tribute. Mike shared a recent photo of himself with his mother. Both of them posed together in an antique shop. Mike wore a chambray shirt with black jeans, while his mother wore a blue paisley print top with denim jeans.

The American Pickers star and his mom stood underneath a sign that read: “Walk-Over Shoes.” In the Instagram post, Mike credited his mom for all that she’s given him throughout his life. Not just the material things, but the gifts and lessons he’s learned.

“Your love, guidance, and strength continue to carry me through this beautiful life,” he wrote. “Watching you loving on little Charlie Wolfe makes my heart melt. Thank you for your sacrifices and for working so hard to raise three little babies on your own. You continue to teach me what’s important every single day. I love you so very much.”

Mike is also a parent. He shares his daughter Charlie with his ex-wife Jodi Faeth. He is currently dating former Maxim model Leticia Cline. The couple went public with their relationship in August 2021, less than a year after his former wife filed for divorce in November 2020.

American Pickers fans were deeply touched by his Instagram post. Most of them took to the comment section to wish Mike’s mom a happy Mother’s Day. Others said they enjoy watching her on the reality series. They think that Mike’s mom is funny to watch.

Struggling to film American Pickers?

Mike’s latest Instagram post came after he talked about his struggles with filming American Pickers. Earlier this month, he admitted that he’s feeling the pressure to make the new season interesting. Meanwhile, ratings for American Pickers Season 23 continue to plummet. The reality star shared a photo of two crew members who were on set.

“Blood, sweat, and tears with these two guys. My pick interviews are done on a different day. It’s a time frame thing there’s just not enough of it on pick days,” Mike wrote in his previous Instagram post. “Finding the words after 13 years of doing this show becomes harder. A lot of it is the pressure I put on myself. And how much weight I put into telling people’s series.”

He credited both of the American Pickers crew members for their guidance. Mike needs a lot of guidance lately as the ratings continue to drop. American Pickers’ ratings have plummeted to under one million viewers in January 2022 and July 2021, for the first time in years. Episodes with former host Frank Fritz boasted much higher ratings.
