When Can You Watch K-9 Hero Awards?

According to the GAC Family website, the K-9 Hero Awards is premiering on Thursday, May 12, at 5 p.m., Eastern.

GAC Media Continues ‘Animal-Centric’ Broadcasting

GAC’s K-9 Hero Awards continue the new network’s commitment to animal welfare. Back in February, Bill Abbott’s network announced the Great American Rescue Bowl.

Subsequently, before the Super Bowl, Hallmark had announced via social media that they axed the Kitten Bowl. Moreover, they shared that they had no plans for any “animal-centric programming.”

This distressed shelters around the country that previously benefited from Hallmark’s publicity. After that, Bill Abbott, Hallmark’s former CEO, and now GAC Media’s CEO, went right to it. In just a few days, he expanded the programming to include puppies and dogs, as well as kittens and cats.

Moreover, broadcasting the K-9 Hero Awards continues to follow through with its commitment to animal-centric programming.

Now Candace Cameron Bure has signed with GAC, as both an executive and as an actor, and producer. It will be interesting to see if she continues to develop and create more animal-centric programming for the new network soon.

Above all, could CCB help develop new animal-centric specials?

Don’t miss the K-9 Hero Awards on Thursday, May 12, at 5 p.m., Eastern, on GAC Family.
