1000-Lb. Best Friends viewers fell head over heels in love with Vannessa Cross. She may have struggled with her weight loss journey, but she was very down to earth and always had a positive attitude. Whenever her friends struggled, Vannessa was there to lift them up and encourage them. And she really embraced body positivity.

TLC star Vannessa Cross happily unveils her brand new look
Vannessa Cross really seems much happier since she received her bariatric surgery at the end of Season 1. Fans hope she managed to keep up with her health goals.
But either way, Vannessa is living her best life. She recently purchased a new car and made a major change to her appearance too.
“I changed my hair what yall think??” the TLC star captioned an Instagram post displaying her new hairdo.
Two of her 1000-Lb. Best Friends costars, Ashely and Tina, left positive, encouraging messages for their friend and said how much they liked the pink hair. Many other fans quickly chimed in and offered their support for the new look.
“I think you look beautiful. I am so inspired by you. You are an amazing roll [sic] model. I hope there is a season 2!!!” said one fan.
What about the future of 1000-Lb. Best Friends?
As we previously noted, TLC has not made an official announcement about the future of 1000-Lb. Best Friends. However, fans really hope the group of women will be back for another season.
But since Vannessa Cross is keeping her ongoing weight loss journey a little quieter, some fans think that this indicates Season 2 might be on the way.
Vannessa was over the moon about her bariatric surgery and it makes sense that she would want to talk about it online. But since she’s keeping it quiet, some people believe an NDA with TLC might be responsible. The network would definitely want to keep her progress quiet so entice people to tune into Season 2.
