For example, Tammy Slaton said she isn’t allowed to give updates on her weight loss progress while she’s in rehab. She told her fans that they would need to catch the next season of 1000-Lb. We do know that Vannessa underwent bariatric surgery at the end of Season 1. However, bariatric surgery isn’t always successful if the patient isn’t able to commit to healthy lifestyle changes. Receiving the surgery was only half the battle. Now, Vannessa has to work hard to keep the weight off.
If you follow Vannessa on Instagram, you probably noticed that she hasn’t posted any full-body shots since the season ended. She posts plenty of photos from her shoulders up. But the lack of body shots makes it hard to determine whether or not her surgery was successful.
The TLC star is happy to share life updates with fans. For example, she dyed her hair pink and also recently purchased a new car. If she isn’t showing off her post-op body, something she would be really excited about, there might be reasons for that.
