Susie Evans Reveals Conversation With Gabby Windey Before Reconciliation
The Bachelor was a drama-filled roller coaster ride with many ups and downs. Clayton Echard made tons of mistakes during his time as the lead. In fact, he pretty much messed up all the relationships with his final three women when he admitted to intimacy and loving all three. Susie Evans wasn’t going to stand for it. She and Clayton got into an argument and she left. However, Clayton realized he made a mistake and got her to come back. Then, Susie shocked Bachelor Nation when she rejected his final rose and walked away saying she wasn’t in love with him. After returning home, she eventually wanted to talk to him. She reached out to Gabby Windey for advice.

People shared what Susie Evans had to say about reaching out to Gabby Windey prior to contacting Clayton Echard. After filming ended and Susie had time to think things over, she decided she did want to talk to Clayton. So, before she did so, she reached out to Gabby.
Susie said she wanted Gabby to be honest about what she thought in regards to her contacting Clayton. She said, “I reached out to her and I was like, ‘Hey, like I’m considering meeting up with Clayton, but I don’t want to make a bad decision and I want your honest opinion.'” Susie continued, “I was like, ‘Do you think that he can redeem this?’ And we had just a really honest conversation.”
According to Susie, Gabby was fully supportive of her reaching out. In fact, she said she didn’t believe Clayton was a bad guy and didn’t have any malicious intent with his actions. Gabby continued to stay classy and truthful even after the hurt she endured.
Susie has remained friends with Gabby and said she’s been a huge support to her throughout all of this.
She hopes they got closure
Susie also commented how hard it was to see Gabby and Rachel face Clayton. She said while she had weeks and hours to get the information from Clayton she needed, these two women only got eight minutes each. Susie hoped it would be enough so they could have closure.
Clayton admits also that he handled everything in Iceland poorly. He admits he raised his voice when he shouldn’t have and treated Susie poorly.
The two have been working on their relationship and are planning to move in together. Clayton is packing up and moving to Virginia.
