Jade Roper Reacts To Clayton And Susie Bombshell
Jade Roper felt triggered by the latest drama going on during Clayton Echard’s season. Susie Evans told Clayton she didn’t want to move forward with their relationship if he’d been intimate with the other two contestants Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia.
He had to confess that he did, and after an argument, he walked Susie out. Fans are torn between whose side they are on. Some are saying he gaslit her and others agree with him that she should have said something about her feelings before the last dates.
Jade Roper Doesn’t Like The Way It Was Handled
While Jade Roper says she can see both sides she doesn’t think Clayton handled it well at all. Talking to US Weekly, she said she thought production knew about Susie’s feelings. Jade thinks they placed her third to cause the drama that went down.
Bachelor Nation is still reeling from the way Clayton reacted to Susie’s feelings about the Fantasy Suites. Clayton himself said he didn’t handle it well. He also said while he didn’t choose the order of the dates, production told him their plan and he went along with it. Jade said she understood that while it’s a show, the production knows what they’re doing.
The part that triggered Jade was watching Susie try to express herself to Clayton and telling him her feelings. She said Susie was “being very receptive to what he was saying — and then all of a sudden he, like, flipped the script on her and was like, ‘How could you do this to me?’” Watching him storm off and aggressively opening the car door didn’t sit well with her.
She Also Felt Awful For Susie
Jade Roper agrees with Clayton he didn’t gaslight her and that it’s a word that’s thrown around too much, along with toxic. She also said knowing how Susie felt she may not have realized how important it was to her that he not sleep with the others until it was too late. While she thinks maybe Susie could have mentioned it earlier, “there’s no excuse,” for how Clayton acted.
TikTok had a lot to say about the way he walked Susie out. Zachary Reality said it was “like everything they had was gone.” He also said Clayton said he loved Susie the most. There was no reason for him to sleep with the other two if he truly meant that.
One fan commented about Clayton’s anger. They said, “His demeanor turned so quickly. He has anger issues. Anyone else see the look on his face as she got in the car?”
