Kim Kardashian ’Drained’ By Kanye’s Shenanigans
Kim Kardashian just wants to move forward in her life. She’s dating Pete Davidson these days and the two seem happy. But her ex Kanye West just can’t let things go.
It’s hardly a surprise that sources close to Kim say that she’s absolutely “drained” by the entire situation. Keep reading to find out a little bit more.
Kim Kardashian isn’t interested in continuing a relationship with Kanye West outside of co-parenting
Kim Kardashian shares four children with Kanye West, so she will likely have to deal with him in some capacity moving forward. However, sources close to the socialite say that co-parenting is the limit when it comes to Kim and Kanye’s relationship.
ET managed to speak with a source about the ongoing divorce proceedings.
“Kim has been continuing to focus on herself, her children, family, and her work. The back and forth with Kanye has been incredibly draining and upsetting for her,” the tipster said. “She has been trying to move on with her life and take care of herself, and Kanye’s actions have made it difficult to do so.”
They added that she does want Kanye to be a good father to their children, but that’s the only role she will accept in her life.
“Pete [Davidson] has been supportive of Kim and they are staying positive about their relationship and enjoying how things are going,” the source continued. “Pete doesn’t want to be involved in the drama so he deleted his Instagram account.”
A lot of Kanye West’s harassment stemmed from Instagram posts, so this move on Pete’s part makes a lot of sense.
The reality star wants to move on, but Kanye is making it difficult
Even though things aren’t great with the father of her children right now, Kim Kardashian seems focused on moving forward with Pete Davidson.
“Kim and Pete are secure enough in their own relationship and aren’t going to let snide comments affect what they have,” another inside source told Us Weekly. “She’s leaning on him while Kanye is going through this jealousy phase. Kim and Pete are trying not to give in to the attention. She’s said what she needed to say.”
But even so, it has to be hard to completely ignore Kanye’s antics.
“Kim is really upset about Kanye’s social media rant and how he’s posting everything she sends him,” another source told The Sun. “Kim has tried to ignore Kanye’s latest attacks, but it’s impossible. After his stunt with the Valentine’s Day roses, she reached out begging him to stop, saying, ‘if he loves her as he says, why is he acting like this and causing her pain?’”
