Duggar Family Roasted For ‘Ignorance’ In Resurfaced Clip
The Duggar family is being roasted online after an old 19 Kids & Counting clip resurfaced. Now, Duggar snarkers are calling them out for their “ignorance.” So, what’s in the video, and what do viewers have to say about it?
The Duggars spent years on TLC between their two shows, 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On. Counting On was canceled in the summer of 2021 after Josh Duggar’s child pornography arrest. Despite the show coming to an end, there are still plenty of clips circulating online. Sometimes, very old videos are dug up, too. Some of them haven’t been seen by fans in years.
Recently, fans and critics relived an awkward moment from Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard’s wedding day. Another old video is of Josh having an uncomfortable conversation with his cousin, Amy King. Plenty of other short videos have flooded the internet recently, sparking discussions on social media. There are likely more that are waiting to start circulating online, too.
Another old video has Duggar snarkers talking about the family’s “ignorance.” What is the video about?
19 Kids & Counting clip surfaces, revealing the Duggar family’s ‘ignorance.’
In a Reddit post on the Duggars Snark subreddit, a critic shares an old video from 19 Kids & Counting. In the video, the Duggars are visiting another church. During the service, however, the congregation begins clapping, chanting, and dancing. The Duggar kids look confused and out of place. This is not what the family is used to at their own church.
In the clip, Michelle Duggar explains, “I think our children were a little surprised at how peppy the service was compared to our church. But the whole family really had a great time.”
In the video, it’s obvious that the kids are a little uncomfortable with what’s going on at the church. Michelle later refers to the different church service as a “learning experience.”
In the comments section of the post, Reddit users are discussing this video of the Duggar family. One points out “the ignorance.” Another Duggar Snarker thinks that the kids simply don’t know how to respond. They write, “i feel bad for the kids because i think this truly was just extreme culture shock to them to the point where they didn’t know what to do with themselves.”
Another says, “Well considering they weren’t allowed to dance I’m not surprised by their aversion to clapping on rhythm.”
Someone else chimes in, “LMAO they look so scared.”
