Fans Relive Uncomfortable Dillard Wedding Moment
Duggar fans and critics are reliving an uncomfortable moment from the Jill and Derick Dillard wedding reception video. After seeing the moment again, they have a huge response to it and have a lot to say. So, what happened at the Dillards’ wedding, and why is everyone having such a big reaction to it?
Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard on June 21, 2014. Today, they have two sons, Israel, 6, and Samuel, 4. They still appear to be happily married and recently shared mushy tributes to each other on Valentine’s Day.
Dillard Wedding Scene Resurfaces
On Reddit, a scene from Jill and Derick Dillard’s wedding has resurfaced. In the clip, Jill and Derick are digging into their wedding cake. After Derick puts a small bite of cake in his bride’s mouth, she proceeds to lick his fingers in front of all of their wedding guests.
Keep in mind that the Duggar family is pretty conservative, which is why this moment might come as a surprise.
As Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, Jill’s parents, witness this moment, they seem to be taken by surprise. Michelle even turns her head away.

Duggar Fans & Critics Cringe During Uncomfortable Scene
In the comments section of the Reddit post, Duggar snarkers are discussing just how strange this scene looks. They think it’s awkward and uncomfortable, especially for the guests at the wedding. One critic writes, “I was really not expecting TLC to show newly married virgin bride JILL gobbling up Derek’s sticky fingers like that…”
Another says, “Good god she REALLY just snatched his fingers and did that. Even he looked shook😂”
Someone else thinks it’s pretty gross and writes, “Yeah I definitely barfed in my mouth at that.”
Another snarker points out that Jill was sober when she did this. They write, “I feel like at a normal wedding everyone is drunk by cake cutting time so weird funny sh*t happens….but they were all dead sober here so YIPES.”
As awkward as Duggar snarkers might find this clip, they are sure entertained by the moment, including Jim Bob and Michelle‘s facial expressions. Maybe even more awkward video clips will surface soon.

So she licked his fingers. What’s the big deal? I have found more offensive and shocking videos floating around.
People are shocked by who did given this is a very conservative controlling family. I don’t understand how that was unclear? There’s literally one who commented on it being gross and you ran with it. Breathe. It’s not that serious. You must be a fun friend.
That part of Jill and Derrick’s wedding was what I took as the first sign of her stepping away from JimBob’s domineering ways.
