‘Darcey And Stacey’ Season 3 Episode 5 Recap- Feb. 7
Last week on Darcey and Stacey, Darcey and her girls spent more time with Georgi. He took them fishing on a boat and they appreciated the quality time. Yet, Aniko is not going to let her mom get played ever again. The whole family went to visit their cousin, Shannon who has the life the twins have always desired. She was happily surprised to see Georgi after thinking it was over. Finally, Florian continued to show his jealous side when Stacey and Darcey headed to a meeting with Michael Benz. He is a longtime friend a former collaborator. Benz has always been protective of the girls and wants to meet their men. He wants to know they are not being played but he and Georgi may butt heads when Michael calls him out.
Darcey and Stacey Take On The Beach
They’ve been doing a lot of organizing for their Miami fashion show. For now, the twins just want to spend time with their cousin Shannon and her kids as well as their own. Darcey is sharing how Georgi took them on a boat to go fishing and how much fun they had. She is excited that even her cousin is noticing Georgi’s improvements. Then Shannon notes similarities between Georgi and Darcey’s ex-husband. They are of the same ethnicity, a little younger, etc.
Darcey and her ex dated for two years before they were married for eight years, having their wedding in New York City. Apparently, he lacked in motivation and financially so she is now seeing the parallels. Shannon admires how Darcey is willing to give second chances and yes, she is concerned for her. In the end, she just wants her cousin to be happy. Stacey even sees Georgi improving and he is starting to grow on her.
Aniko is off on the beach talking to her older male cousin, RayRay. They are both about to be seniors in high school and she just wants to go to college. He asks how she feels about Georgi. She shares the fishing trip moment and how she interrogated him. Aniko claims she believes Georgi is in it for love over money but he has to still prove it with his actions. RayRay is proud of her for being so assertive at such a young age.
Meeting Michael Benz…Again
Aniko and Aspen are staying over at Shannon’s so that Michael can meet Florian and Georgi. They will do a little beach barbecue. Florian is sick of hearing about Michael but he will meet him to pacify Stacey. Georgi starts a fire and begins to cook as Michael shows up with drinks. They all meet and greet but Georgi is quite critical of Michael’s eclectic hair. Stacey claims the guys are excited to meet him so Florian sarcastically says he waited for this day. Michael tells the guys are in the presence of goddesses and he wants Georgi to acknowledge him. However, Georgi says he is cooking and cannot do that.
At the same time, Michael keeps calling Florian “Floran” and Florian calls him Mike. He prefers the more proper name of Michael so this is just a disaster all around. Michael makes it clear he will be the one the men have to deal with if they hurt the girls. Now Michael wants Georgi to make time for them to chat. Georgi decides to be sarcastic so Michael brings up the issues in front of everyone.
He talks about the money in the sock, credit card debt, and more. Georgi says he will do whatever he wants but Michael will not have that. He is ready to beat him down. They are both very sarcastic when they attack each other. The twins do not even know what to do. Georgi decides to go wait in the car as he is done hearing how horrible he is once again.
Making It Right For Darcey and Stacey
Georgi was silent after they left the beach and Darcey feels bad because she does not want them to go backward. He feels like she turned her back on him the night before and has done this in the past. She has not always defended him with her friends. Darcey admits she was so stunned by Michael’s behavior that she went silent. There is nothing she can do now but she and Stacey know how Michael is. He was like her big brother and protective. For Georgi, he wants people to know the good parts of their relationship not just the bad.
Despite what happened, Darcey asks Georgi to spend the day with Michael and Florian in the Everglades. He says he will do it for her but he is not excited about it at all. Yet he will feed Michael to thee alligators if he acts up again. It is now time for the House of 11 casting call. Aspen, Aniko, Florian, and Georgi are walking in the show but they still need models. Furthermore, this could be a legacy for Darcey’s daughters if they would like to continue it.
After seeing all the models come in, Aspen is terrified to walk around the casting room. She does it and she does it really well. As for the guys, Florian and Georgi are waiting for Michael though they do not want to. He shows up and the three look like they would want to be anywhere but there.
The Boat Ride From…
This Everglades trip could be a hot mess. Georgi is ready to feed Michael to the crocodiles. Stacey thinks Florian can help Georgi and Michael get along. On the ride, Georgi and Michael equate themselves to alligators with their protective vibes. At one point they are just sitting in the middle of the glades waiting to see the gators. Michael knows he can take the high road and apologize first but he admits he doesn’t want to.
He finally tells them to put the bad vibes away for the girls. Florian acknowledges Michael is just trying to be protective but the girls have changed. Michael shares he still has concerns with Georgi while Georgi thinks Michael came and messed up the fun time. They can either move on or stay stagnant. The guys agree to move on but Georgi will take it back if Michael messes up.
Next time, Florian and Georgi cause model drama the day before the big show. Florian and Stacey go look at a place in Miami while Darcey is worried about Georgi’s finances. Finally, it is time for the big show. Watch Darcey and Stacey Mondays on TLC.
