‘DWTS’: Jenna Johnson Shows Off New, Creative Hobby
Dancing With The Stars cast members take their athletic ability very seriously. But many of them also have hobbies outside the world of dance. Jenna Johnson recently announced that she’s taking up a new hobby — but she knows she has room for improvement.

Jenna Johnson keeps busy with a new, creative hobby
You probably guess that the DWTS pros are pretty artsy people. After all, it takes a lot of creativity to come up with new routines week after week. Artem Chigvintsev puts a lot of energy into the culinary arts, for example.
So it might not surprise you to learn that Jenna Johnson’s new hobby is also art-related. The pro dancer posted on Instagram how thankful she was for a special Christmas gift her husband Val Chmerkovskiy gave her.
“My sweet husband listened to me say multiple times how badly I wanted a film camera.. and he surprised me with one for Christmas š„ŗ,” Jenna captioned a series of photos that were taken on the new camera.
“I was soooo excited to get my film developed for the first time and ended up with one picture being clear. Lol learned that my shutter was on the wrong settingā¦ but these pictures, even though they are blurry, make my heart so full and I will hold onto these memories forever ā„ļø Hereās to learning new skills and waiting to see what magic you captured āØ”
The photos are definitely blurry, but you can still tell what the subjects are. It really looked like Jenna and Val had fun snapping pictures. There are photos of each other, their dog, and other family members in the collection.
However, one photo of a cabin came out pretty well.

What else is the Dancing With The Stars pro up to these days?
Since Dancing With The Stars Season 30 ended, Jenna Johnson hasn’t posted much on social media. More than likely, she just really wanted to enjoy some time with her family over the holiday season.
The rest of the DWTS pros are on tour right now, but Jenna and Val opted not to go this year.
āVal and I arenāt going on theĀ Dancing With The Stars tour this year, which is wild for us because weāve been on about seven of them,ā Jenna said on Olivia Jade’s podcast. As much as they love performing, it was time to enjoy time with each other.
āYou know, itās hard to say no because we love performing, but I think itās time for us to start being our own family and, you know, being married ā and not being married on the road or on a TV show. Iām excited to have this moment together and to have some time to just breathe out, take our time with things.ā
Fans will be happy to know that Jenna and Val are enjoying their time together. We can’t wait to see how her photography skills turn out with some more practice.
