‘Below Deck’ Dani Soares Snubs Jean-Luc After Paternity Test Humiliation?

Did Below Deck alum Dani Soares snub Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux after their paternity test drama? The former stew shaded her baby daddy on social media. He may be in trouble since he took a long time to take the paternity test. Dani isn’t sure if he’s going to be a supportive father.

Earlier this month, Jean-Luc broke his social media silence to confirm that he’s the father of their child. This came as no surprise to both Below Deck fans and Dani Soares. Yet, she claims that he wants nothing to do with Lilly Rose. Jean-Luc argued that he had to take a paternity test before taking on his role.

Former Below Deck star confirms paternity

Jean-Luc took an extended break from social media. He last argued that he couldn’t be the father because he has different features. The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member even tried to prove it with a photo of himself from when he was a baby. However, fans and crew members weren’t convinced. They told Jean-Luc to “man up” and to take on his new role as a father.

Since then, he took a break from Instagram. Earlier this month, he confirmed that he was the father of Dani’s child. Jean-Luc took an “international DNA test” and that he was “happy and proud” to learn that the baby was his.  He also claimed that he would step up in his role as a father.

The yachtie said they are currently working out their co-parenting relationship since they work in different countries. Jean-Luc says his job keeps him at sea for “extended periods of time.” Meanwhile, Dani resides in Australia with her baby. She’s currently studying to become a nurse as she works as a beauty esthetician. Dani left the yachting industry behind since becoming a first-time mom.

Dani Soares shades Jean-Luc on social media

The Below Deck star has not publicly commented on Jean-Luc’s paternity test. But, she did seemingly shade him on social media. On Sunday, January 23, Dani posted a new photo of their sweet little daughter. The former stew talked about raising her daughter all by herself for the past eight months.

She also called out to those who helped her during that time. Jean-Luc didn’t make the list. Dani shared a photo of her baby girl wrapped up in a purple and white blanket. She smiled up at her loving mom as she held onto her teddy bear.

“The new Below Deck Sailing season is just around the corner and I would like to take this chance to thank some of my fellow crew from season 2 who supported me in every way I needed and without whom I don’t think I could’ve made: @allidoreporfavor @parlayrevival_colin @daisykelliher87 @living_vicariously_through_me.”

Dani concluded her post by adding that “Life is better with friends.” Some fans wonder if she purposely snubbed Jean-Luc, who hasn’t stepped up since recently. She didn’t include the entire Season 2 Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast, so maybe she wasn’t shading him. This isn’t the first time that Dani hinted that she would be on her own.

In April 2021, she shocked Bravo fans when she announced her pregnancy. At the time, she told her baby that it was only going to be them two moving forward. The former reality star has shared her life as a single mom, including her breastfeeding journey and COVID-19 breakthrough case. It’s unclear whether Jean-Luc is doing his part to take care of his child.
