Will Hallmark Make ‘A Timeless Christmas,’ Or ‘Christmas At The Plaza’ Sequels?
Now that the news is out that neither Ryan Paevey nor director Ron Oliver will be filming Christmas In London for Hallmark’s 2022 Countdown To Christmas, fans may hope for another type of reunion.
Could the pair be reunited for a sequel to either Christmas At The Plaza or A Timeless Christmas?

Although it may feel like we just finished the Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movies, it is already time for the network to start filming for the 2022 movies.
Moreover, Ryan Paevey and Ron Oliver fans would like to see the actor and director work their magic together once again.
Just a few months ago, Sir Ronald Oliver, shared a photo on Instagram of him alongside Sir Ryan Paevey. As many Paevey Pack fans know, both have been knighted by the tiny sovereign of Sealand.
They were at the Magic Castle in Los Angeles, celebrating their “respective Knighthoods.”
One fan complimented the two gentlemen, then shared their hope for a couple of sequels. “Sir Ron, Sir Ryan, looking spiffy. Still hoping for sequels to Christmas At The Plaza & A Timeless Christmas. Thanks in advance. ❤️”
The Picture Perfect Mysteries directed replied, “@elaineleblanc6 awww, thanks! As for sequels, that’s up to the good folks at Hallmark….but don’t hold your breath!!”
Unfortunately, that does not sound too promising that there will be sequels to either A Timeless Christmas or Christmas At The Plaza. Moreover, Hallmark has not said a peep about a sequel to either.
Fans that want to see Paevey and Oliver reunite have to hope that the director-writer will come up with another idea for Hallmark, and then have Paevey star.
Unfortunately, this dynamic duo is not in London filming a highly anticipated Christmas movie.
Ryan Paevey, Ron Oliver Not Filming Hallmark’s Christmas In London Together
For nearly a year, Hallmark fans have been anticipating Christmas In London, with Ryan Paevey as the star, and Ron Oliver, who wrote the original screenplay, working his director magic.
Yet, on December 29, 2021, Oliver did go to Twitter to share that he would not be directing Christmas In London. He wrote, “Just wrote the script, very happy Mr. Wright is at the helm!”
It should be noted that Sir Ron Oliver also penned the script for the untitled 2022 Lindsay Lohan Netflix Christmas movie, along with the film’s director, Janeen Damian, Michael Damian, and Jeff Bonnett.
The 2022 Hallmark Christmas movie is now starting to film in the capital of England. However, neither Sir Ron nor Sir Ryan will be part of this Countdown To Christmas movie.
Ryan Paevey Is Ron Oliver’s Favorite Actor To Work With
Every director has a favorite actor they enjoy working with. There is no doubt that Ryan Paevey is Ron Oliver’s favorite.
Back on September 25, the day after Ryan’s birthday, Oliver penned a special birthday tribute on Instagram, to the General Hospital alum.
“Sir Ronald has had the pleasure of working with many wonderful actors over the years, but today’s birthday boy occupies a very special place in his heart. Happy Birthday, Sir Ryan. Besides mentioning their knighthoods again, what is clear is that Ryan Paevey is “family” to the talented director. However, what is very sad is the #londonorbust hashtag. They were excited about working together in Christmas In London.
Hopefully, there is another wonderful Hallmark project in 2022 that will reunite the actor and director.
