‘The Bachelor’s’ Gabby Windey Dishes On Dating Dean Unglert, Blake Horstmann
Fans met Denver Bronco Cheerleader and ICU nurse Gabby Windey on Clayton Echard’s season of The Bachelor. While they got to see a little of her Monday night, they will definitely be seeing more. Plus, she’s already been in the headlines because of her previous relationships. It turns out Gabby reportedly dated Dean Unglert and Blake Horstmann. Now, she’s speaking out about how serious those relationships really were.
Gabby Windey dishes on dating Dean Unglert
US Weekly shared what Gabby Windey had to say about all the talk that she dated Dean Unglert and Blake Horstmann. When it comes to Dean, Gabby does admit that he was one of her first loves. Dean has previously said was also his first love. The two dated in college. She said, “It was just so long ago.” Gabby continued, “It’s a distant past from my experience on The Bachelor and you know, Clayton [Echard] and I’s story, it’s very much its own thing. I’m always really grateful that it was so far in the past, so I could focus more on Clayton and kind of separate [that].”
Dean has had nothing but nice things to say about Gabby for which she is grateful. He previously said that when producers called to ask him about her he told them she was great. He said she would either win the final rose or be the next Bachelorette. She’s just that kind of person.
All about Blake Horstmann
According to Gabby, Blake seems to think there was more to their relationship than there really was. She said, “Blake and I had mutual friends.” She went on to say she met Blake shortly after she graduated college. Gabby said, “We never actually went on a date. There was no drinks paid for. No dinner paid for. [Blake’s] saying we dated … He’s definitely friends of friends. You know, we had spent time together and stuff but definitely no, like, official dating, like, no really kind of formal, no exclusivity and again, it was a really long time ago.”
Either way she is grateful that both men had pleasant things to say about her. However, she also admits she is happy she got to clear up everything about her dating history.
Aside from Blake and Dean, Gabby said she did have other boyfriends along the way that taught her a lot.
As for Clayton, he did not know that Gabby had any association with Bachelor alums. He said it doesn’t make any difference to him.
