‘Ozark’ Season 4 Don’t Kill The Messenger Trailer With Marty and Wendy Byrde, Preview

Ozark is back for season four, as the Byrdes are now in the unenviable position of go-between with the cartel and Darlene Snell. This season proves to continue the high-stakes game the couple has found themselves in the middle of as they try to survive.

Cartel boss Navarro has the Byrdes right where he wants them, and he sends a not-so-veiled message via the Byrdes to Darlene in the clip sent to TV Shows Ace today.

Brief recap leading to Ozark season 4

The strained marriage of Wendy and Marty is the core of the Ozark story, as Marty’s business dealings continue to spiral as their predicament is constantly changing for the worse.

Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) are together bonded now in life or death situations, as their marriage is bowing under the pressure of their money-laundering business while their children suffer.

Will they pull it together and keep their front united? These are the most important questions as we watch, wondering how they will maneuver out of harm’s way and strike deals to ensure the safety of all the Byrdes.

Now that Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer) is out of the picture and the Byrde family is deeply involved with the drug-dealing operation of Omar Navarro (Felix Solis), will the Byrdes survive The Kansas City mob, this Mexican cartel, the FBI, and Darlene Snell’s vicious local heroin gang with Ruth still in the mix?

For a while, the casino-running couple had it all, a clever resolve to the laundering business that made everyone happy. But the Snell issue and the growing tensions between all who sell drugs have the Byrdes in over their heads.
