‘Shark Week’ 34th Season Promises The Rock, Tracy Morgan And More Specials

As American as apple pie and predictable in the summer as Great White Shark sightings off Cape Cod, Discovery’s jam-packed Shark Week promises chills, spills, celebrities, and essential educational information about the apex predators of the oceans, our shark buddies.

The weeklong summer viewing event about predators of the deep will return to Discovery on Sunday, July 24.

The 34th season takes us on a world tour to South Africa, Tahiti, Papua New Guinea, the Bahamas, and the Azores, as  The Rock, Dwayne Johnson, will serve as Shark Week’s master of ceremonies.

The Jackass crew joins him, and the new cast member Poopies and comedian Tracy Morgan will host a special titled Tracy Morgan Presents: Sharks!

By the numbers: The schedule includes 23 new specials totaling 25 hours and is now in its historic 34th year coming Sunday, July 24 at 8:00 pm ET/PT/

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will host as “walking sharks, awe-inspiring breaches and more shocking predations captured on-camera by dedicated science and research field teams” are presented for your summer viewing pleasure.

Shark Week boasts Tracy Morgan, the stars of truTV’s Impractical Jokers, Sal Vulcano, James Murray, Brian Quinn, and the new cast of Jackass.

Portugal to the USA: Friday, July 15

“Dawn of the Monster Mako” exclusive premiere on discovery+
