New Report Alleges Anna Duggar Struggling With Marriage?
What’s the latest with Josh and Anna Duggar’s marriage after his child porn conviction in December? Is she still standing by his side, or have the family’s recent drama and legal troubles affected their relationship? A source has shared more details about what’s going on between the couple now.
As we’ve reported, the former TLC star was arrested in the spring of 2021 and went to court in November. He was convicted on two child porn charges and is facing decades in federal prison. Right now, he’s in the Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas awaiting sentencing.
Anna has reportedly been in contact with her husband since he was booked into jail. According to the visitation logs, she calls him regularly for virtual visits.
There’s been heavy speculation about Josh and Anna splitting up. At this point, they’re still together. However, the Duggar family’s strict religious views may allow for a divorce on these grounds. Anna hasn’t shown any signs that she’s leaving his side, though.
Despite her still seeming to support Josh and her contacting him while he’s in jail, she’s allegedly not sure what’s going to happen with her marriage.
What’s going on with Anna Duggar?
According to a source who spoke with InTouch, Anna is “still not certain about her future” with Josh. The source also said, “She’s doing everything she possibly can to make sense of this living nightmare.”
The source claims that Anna “still loves” her husband. However, this whole ordeal has not been easy on her or the rest of the family. According to the source, “His actions have forced her to look at him as a fallen man who lost his way.” The source also points out that Anna “stood by” Josh until “the bitter end.”
The source says Anna is “praying” for Josh that “she’s leaning on her faith and is certain that it will work out the way it’s supposed to.”
Anna is being supported by the Duggars and her own family. Despite all of the drama among the family, Josh’s parents and siblings are reportedly still showing support for her. The source says, “Josh’s troubles may have splintered the family into taking sides. But there’s one person who the majority of them continue to support — that’s Anna.”
The source continues, “She does talk to Michelle and some of her sisters-in-laws. She’s been spending more time with her family.”
