Is Anna Duggar allowed to see her husband, Josh, while he’s in jail? She’s reportedly standing by his side amid his recent child porn conviction. But something could be stopping her from being able to visit him.

As we’ve reported, in December, Josh was found guilty on two child porn charges. The disgraced TLC star is now awaiting sentencing, which will come in a few months.

There’s been heavy speculation that a divorce is in the cards, and despite the Duggars’ strict religious views on divorce, it may be an option given the circumstances. But based on what sources have said about Anna so far, it seems like she’s still supporting her husband. She doesn’t appear to be splitting from him.

So, if she’s still staying married to him, as far as the public knows, is she allowed to see him at the Washington County Detention Center where he’s being held?

Can Anna Duggar visit Josh in jail?

Josh’s visitation log was recently leaked, revealing that Anna has been visiting him quite often. However, it looks like these are virtual visits rather than in-person visits. So, is she even allowed to see him in person?

According to The SunAnna is not allowed to visit her husband while he’s in jail. The outlet reports that she won’t be able to see Josh in person until his sentencing date in court in a few months. The Washington County Detention Center confirmed that Anna can only talk to her husband via email and video call.

Due to Covid protocol, Anna cannot be in the detention center when talking to Josh. This is because the kiosks in the building cannot be used during this time.

As we’ve reported, once Josh is sentenced, he will go to federal prison. There are only a select few facilities across the United States, and there is not one in Arkansas, where the Duggars live. Once he’s sentenced and put in federal prison, no conjugal visits will be allowed.

Due to the physical distance between Arkansas and any of the federal facilities, Anna may not be able to visit her husband very often. These frequent visits may come to an end soon.

So, does it surprise you that Anna Duggar cannot visit Josh in jail? How do you think this could affect their marriage? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below. For more Duggar family news, come back to TV Shows Ace.
