Rumors swirled that Andy Cohen will not return to CNN’s New Year’s Eve special. The Bravo executive producer caught attention with his rants during the live broadcast. He fired off on Ryan Seacrest, former Mayor Bill de Blasio, and anyone else. Andy has since spoken out about his behavior and admitted regret for some of his comments.

However, reports suggested that his comments could come back to bite him. A scathing report claimed that CNN doesn’t want to ask Andy back. He could risk losing his job as co-host of the New Year’s Eve special. Now, a new report is claiming that his job is safe.

So, what’s the truth? Read on to find out more.

Bravo producer shares his biggest New Year’s Eve regrets

On Monday, January 3, Andy revealed the one regret he had from his New Year’s rants. On his latest episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live, he admitted that he didn’t throw shade at Ryan Seacrest. The Bravo star shared that he shouldn’t have slammed the New Year’s special on ABC. This is interesting considering Ryan is best friends with Kelly Ripa, who is also Andy’s best friend.

“The only thing that I regret saying, the only thing is that I slammed the ABC broadcast and I really like Ryan Seacrest and he’s a great guy,” he said on his Andy Cohen Live Sirius XM show. “And I really regret saying that, and I was just stupid and drunk and feeling it.”

It’s unclear why he said that in the first place. It wasn’t just his rant about Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest that went viral. He also went on a rant about New York City’s outgoing mayor, Bill de Blasio. But Andy isn’t planning to apologize to the former mayor anytime soon.
