’90 Day Fiancé’ Fans Accuse Asuelu Of Acting Like Kalani’s Third Child

Kalani and Asuelu of 90 Day Fiancé

There is an age difference between 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? stars Kalani Faagata, 32, and her husband, Asuelu Pulaa, 24. However, not such an age difference as to really affect a relationship. Despite this, fans of the TLC reality show get annoyed at Asuelu’s regular tantrums. They believe he acts like a third child for Kalani to care for.

90 Day Fiancé star Asuelu and his tantrums

It is beginning to appear that Asuelu is more child than an adult. This is because he regularly throws tantrums like the infamous “terrible twos.” The pair already has two children, so Kalani’s patience is being stretched to the max. Whenever she tries to explain to Asuelu that she needs help, he keeps on ignoring her requests for teamwork.

Asuelu, Kalani and the two children recently went on a road trip to Washington to visit Asuelu’s family. He was feeling homesick and wanted to see his relatives. Asuelu caused problems prior to the trip by wanting to spend too much on gifts for the family. At that stage, Kalani accused him of trying to buy the family.

Asuelu doesn’t understand he needs to put the children first in life. On the trip, the couple went through hell with the two children. All along, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? fans have noted how ill-equipped he is to raise children. Due to this, Kalani and Asuelu struggle with Oliver and Kennedy, who are both under the age of two. Asuelu’s attitude is that it is the wife’s job to rear the children. As noted by Screenrant, he believes his job selling frozen yogurt is enough of a contribution to the family.

Kalani is like a single parent

During Monday’s episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? it becomes clear that Kalani is acting as a single parent. However, she not only has to handle her two children but also her immature husband. Whenever she tries to get this point across to Asuelu, he doesn’t get it.

On arrival in Washington, Asuelu is excited to see his mother and half-sister. However, after a 12-hour drive, his two young sons are exhausted. As it is, Oliver and Kennedy have been playing up and crying throughout the drive. All Kalani wants to do is go directly to their hotel. She wants the family to rest up before heading to the family home. Asuelu does eventually give in, but he tells the TLC cameras that he is very upset, as his family has prepared a feast to welcome them.

90 Day Fiancé family tensions

For the most part, fans are on Kalani’s side. It was late at night and obviously the two children needed their rest. However, Asuelu refuses to understand the situation. He even throws a tantrum at their hotel, while unloading the family’s suitcases. It seems Asuelu might have problems communicating his feelings. Maybe he and Kalani need to sit down for a very serious, adult talk.

While Asuelu was initially a fan favorite, fans are changing their minds during the latest season. The Samoan comes across as immature and selfish. Kalani and Asuelu had already had a fight over how much he wanted to spend on gifts and cash for his family. However, he makes little money and they cannot afford such gifts. Whenever he doesn’t get his way, Asuelu storms off in a temper and refuses to speak to Kalani. Hopefully, one day, they will work through their issues or their relationship could fail.
