Are 90 Day Fiancé stars Colt and Jess still together?

At first, some 90 Day Fiancé fans were hoping Colt and Jess would work out. However, with all the turmoil on the TLC reality show, it seems they have called it quits. They reportedly broke up in October last year and now fans are watching the failed relationship play out.

The Brazilian beauty has a new and hunky boyfriend by the name of Brian Hanvey.  Jess regularly shares photos of him on social media. The interesting side of this new man is that he is friends with Larissa Dos Santos Lima, Colt’s former wife, and Larissa’s friend Carmen. In fact, it sounds like Larissa introduced Jess to Brian.

What causes the breakup?

The main reason for the split came after Jess saw direct messages between Colt and his “friend,” Vanessa Guerra. This is after Colt told Jess they weren’t seeing each other behind her back in the August 2 episode.

Everyone knows Colt is a mommy’s boy and Jess called him out for that. She said,  “He’s a liar, a cheater, [and] a [piece] of trash hiding under his [mother’s] skirt.”  She also dubbed Vanessa a friend with benefits. Meanwhile, on the show, Colt denies having been unfaithful to her.

Did Colt and Jess’s parents approve of their 90 Day Fiancé romance?

When she finds they are planning to marry, Colt’s mom Debbie says he and Jess are moving too quickly. It isn’t that long since his divorce from Larissa. In the August 2 episode of 90 Day Fiancé, Debbie says something about Jess giving her “flashbacks” about his former wife.

As noted by In Touch, she says at the time there was something there that she doesn’t trust. In fact, Debbie believes proposing to Jess would be a serious mistake that she plans to do everything in her power to stop. In a recent interview, Colt’s mom even says she prefers Larissa to Jess, which is saying something.

Colt, Jess and Debbie traveled to Brazil to meet Jess’s family. Her father, Silvio, was also hesitant as the relationship happened so quickly following Colt’s divorce from Larissa. However, he was prepared to let Colt propose to Jess if that made his daughter happy.

Are Larissa and Jess friends?

During this season of 90 Day Fiancé, Larissa has made it her aim to warn Jess about Colt. Because of this, they actually became close friends. In fact, Larissa said in July that becoming friends with Jess was “one of the best things that happened” to her.
