’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Geoffrey Denies Claims He Didn’t ‘Truly Love’ Varya
Were 90 Day Fiancé stars Geoffrey and Varya truly in love? After Geoffrey Paschel returned home and picked up with his former girlfriend, Mary, Varya, 30, was deeply hurt. While she teases a tell-all about Geoffrey, 41, on YouTube, Paschel also speaks up for himself.
The ongoing drama of Varya and Geoffrey
Fans outright accuse Geoffrey Paschel of never having “truly loved” fiancée Varya Malina. This is after he proposed to her in Russia, basically giving her an ultimatum. Varya doesn’t want to rush into things and turned him down – for now.
Paschel returns home to Knoxville, Tennessee. And, almost immediately takes up with his former girlfriend Mary. Meanwhile, not wanting to lose him… Varya tries to contact Geoffrey. But, he ignores her texts. So, she buys herself an airline ticket and flies to the US to surprise him. It isn’t him that gets he surprise, however, or should we say shock? She arrives at his door, only to meet Mary, his former and latest love.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days fans call Geoffrey out
After seeing how hurt Varya was… Fans took to social media. They accuse Geoffrey of not giving Malina space. He didn’t give her the time she needed to think about his proposal. Geoffrey responds, basically telling them to mind their own business. He’s not interested in fans’ opinions of his love life.
As noted by In Touch, on May 20, one of his Instagram followers writes about this. They say they understand how Geoffrey was hurt after Varya didn’t immediately accept his proposal. However, they point out Varya didn’t say “never.” She means “not yet,” because she needs time to think about things.
The fan continues, pointing out if he truly loves her, he would have given her some time and not ended the relationship. Of course, worse than that, they allege he returns home to the “next best woman.” The follower truly doesn’t understand his behavior.

‘To each their own,’ says Geoffrey
Geoffrey responds to the comments with a virtual shrug. Obviously, not worried about having to explain himself. He writes, “To each their own” with the appropriate emoji. When pushed for a fuller response, he writes he didn’t want to wait for her. Geoffrey reveals she did not meet his “expectations.” Just like he “apparently” did not meet hers.
During the May 3 episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, Varya never says Geoffrey didn’t meet her “expectations.” She merely says she needs time to process everything he revealed to her in Russia. Malina says she loves him. But, she wasn’t entirely sure she could trust him. She is not ready yet. While saying she doesn’t want to lie, Varya points out she didn’t want to say “yes” and then change her mind. She believes if it is their destiny to be together, time shouldn’t matter.
90 Day Fiancé star Varya talks back
Varya hit Instagram on May 16 to reveal her feelings about what happened between them. She says he virtually said, “Will you marry me or it’s over.” At that time, she responds, “not yet” – she doesn’t say “no.” She hates ultimatums, going on to say her world is “not black and white.” It has many colors. There are many decisions and solutions to find, you just need to want to find them.

The Russian beauty then teases a tell-all video about Geoffrey, which she plans to publish on YouTube. In the meantime, fans will be able to follow their story during season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. Both Geoffrey and Varya now promise to tell the whole story, so fans will have to be patient for their tell-alls. It certainly sounds like there is more drama to come.
