The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian often makes bold moves that can be hit or miss with fans. But recently, Kim’s fashion choice made it hard not to compare her to a timeless icon, Princess Diana. However, Kim is getting backlash from fans for “disrespecting” Princess Di with her fashion statement.

Oftentimes, when people refer to the legendary Princess Diana of Wales, they mention characteristics such as her beauty, her style, her grace, and her charitable heart. However, those don’t seem to be the first things that come to mind when people discuss The Kardashians star, Kim Kardashian. While Kim has built an empire with the Kardashian-Jenner family, she doesn’t usually have the same “warm” feeling that Princess Di gave off as the notable “People’s Princess.” Many people adored her for her charm and heartfelt care.
However, both are strong advocates for people they believe need assistance. Likewise, Kim Kardashian aspires to be a tough businesswoman but adored by fans. Furthermore, she loves to show off her flare for fashion, both old and new looks. But after her latest look, some fans think she is slighting the image of Princess Di.

On Reddit, The Kardashians viewers were quick to jump on one of Kim Kardashian’s latest moves. After seeing the star’s fashion choice, one user draws a comparison between Kim and Princess Dianna. However, many people were very critical of her saying she was “disrespectful.” First, a user says, “Is it the actual necklace?” If yes she is doing too much and being disrespectful.” Then, they continue, “In her shein looking dress? Girl you represent everything Queen Diana probably hated.”
- “Yes it’s the actual necklace but it actually never really belonged to Diana! It was loaned to her on several occasions then kim bought it when it went up for sale.”
- However, someone else adds, “Kim bought this at Sotheby’s auction in London on January 18, 2023. The amethyst and diamond cross was sold to her for £163,800 (approximately $200,000 USD) – so what that means guys is – that’s Kim’s necklace and she can wear it however she wants.”
- “So tired of the ‘plastics’. There is no natural beauty left in this women and with the personality issues – nasty. She will always be remembered for something – but will never be an icon. Maybe someone we use to explain what VHS tapes are to the younger generation or some 2050 version of ‘What Not to Wear’.”

But other Kardashians fans think that Princess Diana would like Kim Kardashian.
