‘Teen Mom’ Maci Bookout Called Out For Mistreating Toddler Again
An old video of Maci Bookout has come back to haunt her once again. The Teen Mom star is facing backlash from an old clip that has started to circulate online. Many people are furious, accusing her of mistreating her toddler. So, what did Maci do that has fans so angry? Keep reading to find out.
Teen Mom Fans Rage Over Old Clip Featuring Maci Bookout
The old clip shows the Teen Mom star painting her daughter’s nails. At the time, Jayde was under two years old. Maci Bookout is heard threatening her daughter in the video, trying to get her to sit still and cooperate while she painted her nails. As the video progresses, Maci seems to smack her toddler on the stomach for not doing what she was told.
Jayde is now nine years old, but the video comes back to haunt Maci Bookout from time to time. It has resurfaced once again and many Teen Mom fans are concerned about her behavior.
Most people have argued that her actions toward her toddler were not appropriate. Jayde was very young in the clip and not able to understand the activity fully.
On Reddit, one person commented, “I don’t understand why she gets mad at a baby for acting like a baby.” Another person agreed, “Same, especially when it has to do with something non-baby, like painting nails. The dumbassery is off the charts.”
A third person asked “why” the child needed an aggressive tummy pat because she was moving. “Like this was just unnecessary imo,” they concluded.
Yet another person expressed their disgust on Reddit. “Painting a baby’s nails isn’t mandatory or important. She couldn’t handle the baby moving and instead of accepting the baby moving she resorted to threats and hitting,” they wrote.
Maci Bookout Has Entered A New Stage In Her Life
Things have wildly changed for Maci Bookout since that video first appeared on the internet. The Teen Mom star is currently married to Taylor McKinney, a motocross racer. They met after Maci appeared on 16 & Pregnant.
Taylor and Maci got married in October 2016. The couple shares two children together, nine-year-old daughter Jayde and eight-year-old son Maverick. Their relationship has been seen on Teen Mom OG and The Next Chapter.
In addition to her two children that she shares with Taylor McKinney, Maci Bookout has another son, Bentley Edwards. He was born in October 2008 when Maci was a teenager. Her experience having Bentley at such a young age, and her relationship with his dad Ryan Edwards, were documented on 16 & Pregnant.
