Jon Taffer Breaks Silence On ‘Bar Rescue’ Absence
The new season of Bar Rescue looks a little different this year. Fans noticed that show host Jon Taffer has been missing from several episodes this season.
Some have suggested that the show is preparing to replace Taffer due to his age and health. While Bar Rescue could still have a lot of life left in it, many argue that it just wouldn’t be the same without him.
So what’s going on?
Jon Taffer Address His Audience On Instagram
Jon Taffer has been the host of Bar Rescue since the beginning. Fans love his no-nonsense attitude and think of him as the Gordon Ramsay of the bar world.
However, Taffer will be 70 years old this fall. Is his age or health playing a role in his absence?
Taffer recently addressed the issue on social media.
“I wanted to take a moment to address some of the questions and concerns I’ve been hearing from many of you. Yes, you’ve noticed that I’m not hosting every episode of Bar Rescue this season. I want to assure you all that I am in good health and as Executive Producer, even if I am not hosting the episode I am still overseeing every episode and ensuring that Bar Rescue continues to deliver the high standards you’ve come to expect,” Jon shared on Instagram.
“As the industry continues to explode, the number of failing bars is increasing at an alarming rate. While I can’t be everywhere at once, my vision and strategies are still driving the show. rest assured, I’m not going anywhere and will be hosting many episodes to come. Bar Rescue is still going strong and I thank you for your unwavering support and passion for the show. Together, we will continue to save bars and transform lives, one episode at a time. Stay tuned for more rescues and incredible transformations!”

love him…show is not the same without him.
I agree its not the same I’ve tried watching some episodes with out Taffer and end up changing channel.
just not the same if Taffer is not screaming “your gonna kill somebody”
Originally, I had the DVR record new episodes. I no longer do this as John has been missing. When I see that John is not on this episode, I delete it. I’ve stopped recording it. Unless the synopsis of the episode says John is on it, I will no longer watch it. Sorry, you can’t advertise steak and then offer spam.
