‘Teen Mom’ Kailyn Lowry Reveals Massive Purchase
Former Teen Mom star, Kailyn Lowry has just revealed she made a massive purchase. She has been living her best summer life with her seven children and partner, Elijah Scott. So, what did she indulge in? Keep reading for more details.
Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry Reveals Massive Purchase
Kailyn Lowry has worked hard over the last several years to create her own brand since leaving Teen Mom. She has her podcasts, Barely Famous, Coffee Convos, and Baby Mamas No Drama. Plus, she has been a successful author with several books including Pride Over Pity and Love is Bubblegum. At the same time, Kailyn has expanded her family. In recent years, she went from a family of four to a family of seven. She and her boyfriend, Elijah Scott had their first son, Rio, and then, within a very short time, she appeared to be expecting again.
Kailyn and Elijah went on to have twins, a boy and a girl whom they named Verse and Valley. With seven children, it seemed like they may need more room. That being said, Kailyn shared she purchased twenty acres of land. Kailyn built her current home in 2021 but it is clear that she and her family have outgrown what she initially wanted. According to In Touch Weekly, Kailyn broke the news about her new lot via TikTok on July 19th, 2021.
“I am closing on 20 acres of land today. They were finally able to do the site evaluation at the end of May.”
Kailyn Lowry shared they did a site evaluation to see if there were “wetlands” or if it could be built on. Additionally, it would show “what type of [sewage] system the house can run off of.” She then went on to explain her goal with the new home, which will not be ready for a handful of years:
“The plan right now is to build an eight-bedroom house somehow. The last time I bought land, we built in the same year. This one is going to take a little longer.”
In the end, the home will not be ready until 2026 or 2027 so she will be in her current home for a while. Kailyn wants to add a few fun things to the new house like a laundry both upstairs and down as well as a barn:
“I don’t have any plans to have, like, a huge, real farm. I just kind of like our animals that we have now, and then if we get, like, a highland cow or something like that would be the extent of it. Right now, I’m not planning on getting horses or anything like that.”

A Big Feat
This is a big accomplishment for the former Teen Mom star and her son, Lincoln was right by her side. She gave him a golden shovel so he could break ground on the home. He would love a soccer field at the new home if he could have his wish. Kailyn Kowry’s fans had a lot of suggestions upon learning about the new land:
- kail consider having a lot of backup electric,like solar,wind etc
- Do a portico drive way. Have 3 car garage built into the house and an additional 2 car garage connected by the portico
- Are you going to do a bigger pool?
Someone even suggested she have fellow Teen Mom co-star Chelsea DeBoer and her husband, Cole do the house. It will be very exciting to follow this journey and hopefully, it will come together exactly how Kailyn and her family would like it to.
