MTV’s Teen Mom alum Kailyn Lowry recently opened the floor via Instagram for questions. She encouraged her followers to ask anything and they didn’t hold back. One very bold MTV fan noted her timeline involving Rio was “sh*ty” and they questioned if Elijah was Rio’s biological father.

Kailyn Lowry kicked off addressing whether Elijah was Rio’s biological father with a sassy response. She pointed out the person who asked the question has “been a hater” since Kailyn first appeared on MTV’s Teen Mom.
Killing the hater with kindness, Kailyn used a white heart emoji as she thanked them for their support. She called attention to the individual taking the time to interact with her posts despite all the hate.
Shifting gears, Kailyn noted there was nothing “sh*ty” about her timeline when it comes to Rio. So, whether Elijah was the father was never even up for debate. She proceeded to school the hater. She encouraged them to be more careful about where they get their info on her.
Given her track record with baby daddies, most agreed the individual was not overstepping with this question. Likewise, the story of how she found out she was pregnant caused fans to think Elijah was not the father.
When Kailyn Lowry first revealed Rio, she joked that he was a “souvenir” she brought back home during a getaway. The problem with her joke was Elijah was not with her during her trip. Yet, she said he was the father. Kailyn, however, clarified she meant she found out she was pregnant during the trip. She, however, clearly conceived Rio with Elijah before the trip.
