‘Below Deck’ Captain Jason Chambers Shouts Out Eye Health
Captain Jason Chambers debuted on Bravo in Below Deck Down Under. He used to wear eyeglasses, but when he started working on the show, he lost them or broke them, so he changed to contact lenses. Of course, you might recall Aesha Scott helping him to put them in. These days, instead of being a bit embarrassed about that, he’s shouting out eye health.
Captain Jason Chambers Has Eye Issues
Fans and other celebrities seem to think that the sea-going man who splits his time between the Philippines and Bali when he is not sailing, is rather delicious looking. During BravoCon 2023, plenty of people gave him the “yum.”
Captain Jason Chambers and Aesha Sctot seemed to have such a good relationship, that Below Deck Down Under fans thought they might have something going. After all, helping him put in his contact lenses on the show seemed intimate. However, they are more like brother and sister. When he had issues with his contacts, the captain seemed a bit shy about them.

Below Deck Down Under Captain Promotes Eye Health
Vision is important when helming a large luxury vessel, so eventually, frustrated with his eyeglasses, the Bravo personality got his contact lenses. However, they made his eyes feel very dry. They also take some getting used to. Now that he’s got a handle on using them, he’s keen to promote them for eye health.
Captain Jason Chambers, according to People, has become “a spokesperson” for the “ACUVUE OASYS MAX” brand. He also seems to understand that vision health is really important. Chatting with the outlet, he said:
I [needed] to start thinking not just my mind and my body. It’s actually about my eyes and it is probably one of the biggest assets we’ve got. And I had ignored them…I really realized that it’s not just about vision, it’s about eye health.
So, the Below Deck Down Under star urged people to get their eyes checked out. Here is a shocker that dropped during the interview! Captain Jason Chambers is not in his late thirties. Instead, Captain Cutie Pie is actually “52” years old. But, he feels like he’s in his thirties. After all, he has a young daughter so he needs to get up to speed with her. He needs good eyesight because they like playing “Frisbee” and making “bracelets.”
