Tarek El Moussa Gets Slapped After Mixing Up Wife And Ex
HGTV fans have been sorely missing Flip or Flop. But thankfully, the network has plans to revitalize the program — with a twist.
The Flip Off features Tarek El Moussa and Christina Hall as they race to successfully flip a property with the help of their new spouses. But after following the family online and seeing promos, fans noticed Tarek definitely has a type. His current wife Heather Rae Young bears a striking resemblance to his ex Christina.
So what happens when he accidentally mixes the two of them up?
Tarek El Moussa’s Wife Gives Him A Firm Smack In A New Promo
Ahead of The Flip Off premiere, both the Hall family and the El Moussas have been sharing exciting promos. HGTV is excitedly getting seasoned viewers pumped up for the new series.
But there’s no denying that Christina Hall and Heather Rae Young are very similar looking. How will viewers keep them straight when Tarek El Moussa even mixes them up from time to time?
In a promo for the new series, HGTV decided to poke fun at that exact angle.
“Heather finally did what Christina has been wanting to do for years… can you guess what that is?” Tarek shared on Instagram, attaching a video skit to promote the new show.
Viewers watch as Tarek and Heather enter a cute coffee shop together. Heather asks her husband to order a chai tea latte for her while she looks for a table.
After retrieving the coffees, Tarek thinks he’s approaching Heather. But in actuality, it’s Christina dressed identically to his ex-wife. Upon discovering the mistake, Heather slaps Tarek across the face.
“Well, I guess it is confusing,” Tarek jokes as the skit comes to an end.

So far, The Flip Off doesn’t have a solid release date. Right now, rumor has it that fans can expect to see the Halls and the El Moussas face off sometime in 2025. Until then, there will probably be more videos like these coming soon.
